About Andrea

Andrea grew up in rural Virginia. Her father was a local protestant minister with an open, inclusive mind, and her mother was a global champion for women's rights.

Andrea s a Registered Architect. She graduated cum laude from Virginia Tech with a BArch (Bachelors of Architecture) and a minor in Interior Design. Before graduation, she lived for a year in NYC in a Salvation Army home and worked as an intern architect for a church Headquarters in Harlem. There, she helped develop small, starter churches throughout the United States.  Since then, she moved on to project management where she was PM-in-Charge of multiple large-scale, multi-million dollar historic restoration projects, including the iconic Lincoln & Jefferson Memorials on the DC National Mall, and the former Hotel Washington overlooking the White House.

While managing the Pro-Bono fit-out of "826 DC: The Museum of Unnatural History" she met like-minded writers. This experience encouraged her to dust off her old manuscript and publish her story at last.

Andrea and her husband are currently living the dream in the low country U.S.A.
